2021 FALA Awards hosts Obasanjo, Goodluck, and others

The general overseer of the Believer’s Loveworld also known as Christ Embassy, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, has on the 31st of December 2021 awarded the 10 nominees of the Future Africa Leaders Award (FALA) 2021.

The occasion which was streamed live on all the church television networks and digital platforms had in attendance the presence of three distinguished African leaders- former president of the federal republic of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo GCFR, as the chairman and two other special guests of honor, former president of the federal republic of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and former African Union Ambassador to the United States, Her Excellency Dr. Arikana Chihombori-Quao.

The 9th edition of the Future Africa Leaders Award (FALA) 2021 which took place at the Loveworld Crusade Ground, Aseese (LCG), unveiled the nine winners and star prize award winner who made it to the top 10.

Winner of the star prize 2021, Nzometiah Nevis Tetsop, a 23-year-old innovator went home with the sum of $25,000 and Africa leader’s global recognition.
Meanwhile, the other nine winners were rewarded with a cash prize worth $10,000.

The initiative FALA was introduced in the year 2013 by the Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF), an arm of the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation International (COFI) aimed at identifying, celebrating, and supporting young leaders across Africa who have demonstrated exemplary leadership by impacting their generation positively in the area of education, mentoring and youth empowerment.
